Under 30 World Ultraman champion 2007, 1st Spanish man to complete the Ultraman. The original Spanish Mule.
Petra Wiltshire Petra is 2 times Masters World Champion (2007 & 2008) and ambassador for Scott Europe, promoting the brand in biking, skiing and clothing. We first met Petra at the Megavalanche in 2007 and will hopefully be seeing her on the podium again this year!
Anna Frost A Team Inov-8 sponsored Mountain Runner. Anna, who's a PE teacher by day, won the 2008 Mont Blanc Half Marathon and the 2008 Salomon Mountain-X Race. ![]() Two riders who’ll need plenty of fuel for their adventures in 2009 are Jon Stenson and Pete Turnbull. Jon and Pete are familiar faces on the UK mountain bike scene, competing in all the major marathon and 24 hr races. Last year the pair won the “Torchlight” 12hr (midnight to 12 noon) at the Bontrager 24/12 in Plymouth and Pete is the UK vets marathon champion. In 2007 they were the top placed British team in the 8-day Cape Epic in South Africa, but in 2009 they intend to go two better – in addition to the Cape Epic in March, the pair will race the Trans-Alps in July and the Trans-Rockies in August. To our knowledge, no amateur pair has completed all three of the world’s big multi-stage mountain bike races in one season.

Jules "Team Pies and thighs" The Big Mule. Jules came to know MuleBar after a series of events led Jimmy and Biff to drive Jules home from the Alps in 2007 when Jules had landed, twice, on his broken shoulder at the Megavalanche. Jules is a Cape Epic Finisher and all round MTB racer.

Nigel Foskett "Team Pies and thighs" Nigel was Jules’ partner in the Cape Epic 2008 and joins him again in 2009. Part of the legendary Pies ‘N’ thighs team.
Tim Holsgrove Tim started ultra-running in 2006 and has won the Jurassic Coastal Challenge for the last two years. That’s a non-stop run of 78.6 miles!

Mansour Youssef A local rider to Mulebar HQ and an original Mule, Mansour is riding for Yeti in 2009, competing in races in the UK and World Cup races abroad. Mansour has also raced the TransWales, TransScotland and TransAlps.
Based in Essex, The BMC are an elite road cycling team taking part in all the big races in the 2009 calendar. We make no secret of our desire to create a ‘European’ mystique to the team in both style and name. Moulin is an area within our local where most good rides start and many more finish. Velo Club, was easy this wasn’t a discipline specific team, riders would be participating in Cross Country, Downhill, Cyclo Cross, Road, Time Trial and Marathon (road and off road) events as well as generally riding wherever time would permit and with passion over and above everything else.

Chip Motor-mouth Chip was part of Team Raging Kipper in 2002 with Biff, MuleBar BaseCamp Manager. They competed in various questarsbefore moving on to predominantly bike racing. Chip has competed in many races in the Alps, sportives, Triathlons and trips to A&E. Chip was a big adopter of MuleBar from day one. His current favourite flavour is Apple Strudel after trying one halfway up Crib Goch in November. Rage!
