In their own words:
We were lucky enough to sent a selection of energy bars from MuleBar, including Jimmy’s Choc Orange and the Eastern Express Spicy Mix with Pistachio
As well as Liquorice Allsort and Mango Tango…
Before we move on to the all important taste test, here’s a few words about from the guys at MuleBar.
So, here’s comes the crunch or should I say the chew… With the exception of the Eastern Express, we liked them a great deal.
They feel a bit more “homemade” than your average energy bar and certainly are packed with flavour. The Eastern Express is possible getting a rough ride as it was eaten off the back off Jimmy’s Choc Orange.
Liquorice is one of those things, a bit like marmite, that you either love or hate. I’m on the side of the former, however it did taste a little weird at first. Once I got past this, it was actually great. Although you’ll need a good pair of nashers to chew your way through it!
So what can you expect from a MuleBar?
There are other great flavours available such Hunza Nut, Apple Strudel, Summer Pudding and even Piñacolada! They’re not heavy on your stomach but are quite satisfying.
If you’re looking for something beyond your common or garden energy bars with great innovative flavours, the MuleBar Energy bars could be right up your street.
